About Us

The Saloon

Characters Saloon was founded in 1994 and is Vallejo’s very own version of Cheers. We’re the real thing – a community icon and maybe by today’s youth, a relic of the past. Open Monday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to no later than 2:00 AM bar time.

As a Saloon, we provide some food, alcohol beverages and entertainment services to our established and visiting friends. Our entertainment is usually event driven and food service is available by arrangement.

The Family

Our employees and customers are truly Characters, both friendly and lovable. Collectively, they represent centuries of experience, and, if you come in at the right time you will hear us solving all the world's problems. We enjoy playing and traveling together much like a family.

Sadly, many of the original characters are no longer with us but we have the memories. And, hopefully, we’ll continue to generate more memorable moments.
